The vice president asked General Andika to closely monitor the development and welfare of the Papuan people. According to the Spokesperson for the Vice President Masduki Baidlowi, the message was conveyed by Vice President Ma’ruf Amin directly to Andika at a meeting at the Vice President’s official residence in Jakarta, Wednesday (24/11). “Because the Vice President is very intensive in monitoring the development of Papua, how can the welfare development process for Papua be more intensive in 2022, so that the benefits of welfare for the Papuan people can be seen more clearly,” said Masduki.
The vice president also asked the former Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) to continue to monitor the development of national conditions, especially in Papua and West Papua, regarding the acceleration of development in Papua. “The vice president asked (Andika) to continue to monitor what kind of national developments, especially in Papua, because the vice president has the responsibility of how to improve the welfare of Papua,” he said.
